A new chapter
FAROS TECHNIS is being built as an educational and artistic institution larger than any one person: teachers bring distinct experience, workshops can evolve, and training stays connected to creation and stage practice.
Technique matters when it becomes freedom, presence and a genuine encounter with the other person.
Now at FAROS
No premature announcements and no details that have not been finalised. These are the real next steps today.
The first workshop programme is being shaped. Dates, schedules, pricing and capacity will be published only when confirmed.

You enter a creative process that begins with training, moves through rehearsal and can, when appropriate, meet the stage.
New here?Technique, presence, tools, observation and individual work inside an ensemble.
Knowledge becomes rehearsal: trying, failing, repeating, collaborating and discovering.
When a process calls for it, the work may meet an audience — without implying that every workshop culminates in a public performance.
How we work
Theatre training begins by doing. Body, voice, text, observation, improvisation and collaboration become practical tools for greater freedom, precision and presence on stage.
Theatre is not learned by talking about it alone. Understanding is tested through rehearsal, exercise and repeated practice.
The relationship between teacher and group matters. The work develops through listening, response and genuine collaboration.
Technique is not the destination. It gives the actor more choices, greater freedom and greater precision.
Piraeus · Point of departure
FAROS TECHNIS has its roots in Piraeus. Theatre training, rehearsal and creation remain connected to a city with its own cultural life and to people with a real relationship to the stage.
The work begins in the rehearsal room: with the teacher, the group, the text, the body and the voice. From there, training stays connected to theatre as a living stage practice.
Seminars & workshops
The new programme is being shaped. We will publish dates, schedule, pricing and capacity only when they are confirmed.
The programme will be announced soon.
Until then, you can register interest with no commitment or meet the teachers first.
The people in the room
Stavros Karagiannis forms a central artistic and educational core. Around him, distinct personalities create an ensemble that allows FAROS to grow beyond any single person.
Actor · Director · Theatre Maker
Actor and director, graduate of the Embros Theatre Drama School, with work across theatre, cinema, television, translation and stage adaptation.
Actor · Dramaturg · Theatre History Educator
Actor, graduate of the National Theatre Drama School and the University of Athens Department of Theatre Studies, with extensive stage experience and teaching work in dramaturgy and theatre history.
Two distinct stage journeys
Professional productions keep their own visual identity and archive. Workshop presentations are documented separately as part of the educational journey.
Public record
Press releases, interviews, photography and coverage build a lasting record of the work — not a feed that disappears.
